Plates that are perfect as a ring dish, incense holder, or a teacup saucer. In collaboration with Laboratorio Paravicini, this Miniature Plate represents Protection. The Scarab is meant to shield the wearer...not from a malevolent outside source but from our own negative thoughts. The ones that say, “you can’t do it” or something similar and prevent us from using our energy to build more productive and positive aspects of our lives. The horseshoe is also a symbol of protection, particularly valued for the properties of the metal it's made with, iron, that withstands the fires of adversity & negativity.

      Care Instructions

      HOW TO CARE FOR THIS PIECE?

      The biggest danger to enamel is cracking due to the impact of dropping it on hard surfaces. Wrap enamel jewelry in a soft cloth before storing to prevent the glass enamel from sustaining chips or scratches from your other jewelry. If damage occurs, we will gladly repair the piece for you, feel free to email us at clientcare@foundrae.com or call us at  +1 (844)-731-0808.

      HOW TO CLEAN THIS PIECE?

      Shine enamel with a microfiber cloth and lukewarm water. Apply makeup, perfume and hair spray before putting on jewelry, and do not wear your gold or enameled pieces in a swimming pool. Chlorine can damage gold, causing it to pit or become brittle. Gold pieces can be polished by your local jeweler.

      Shipping

      Upon receipt of the order, you will receive an order confirmation and a Foundrae team member will reach out within 1-2 business days with order updates or a tracking number. Lead-times vary by item type. We do have limited inventory in our store but generally keep stock of all core medallion and chain options. If the piece is in stock we can ship immediately, but if we do not have inventory, each piece is individually made and requires a 4-6 week shipping window.

      - Rings require a 4-6 week lead time, as we do not carry all sizes.
      - Custom pieces require a 6-8 week shipping window once artwork has been approved.

        Please inquire if there is a greater urgency to the timing of the delivery. We wish to accommodate customer’s delivery requests if it’s in our ability.

        You can choose to cancel your order within 24 hours of receipt of shipping window notice. If we do not receive a notice of cancellation within 24 hours, we will go forward with production and the return policy will apply.

        Domestic Shipping Options

        Domestic orders are shipped FedEx insured 2-day for free with a minimum purchase of $1000. All orders under $1000 will ship at a $20 flat rate. 

        Domestic orders also have the option for Fedex insured overnight at a $30 flat rate.

        All shipments are subject to payment in full by customer. We will send you an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped. 

        All packages are insured and your order confirmation email will note whether a signature is required at the time of delivery.

        We offer same day delivery via messenger service for orders located in New York City ONLY for a $20 flat rate. For same day messenger delivery, orders should be placed before 4:30 pm in order to receive the same day. All messenger orders after 4:30 pm will be delivered the next day.

        International Shipping Options

        International orders are shipped by either DHL or FedEx insured air at $75 flat rate (shipping service dependent on the shipping country). FedEx considers all U.S territories as international shipments (i.e Puerto Rico, Guam). All shipments and duties for both DHL and FedEx (if applicable) are subject to payment in full by customer. 

        FoundRae is not responsible for any duties or taxes incurred by the country that we are shipping to. The customer is responsible to pay taxes and duties upon delivery.

        All packages are insured and a signature is required upon receipt.

        This piece is derived from the Protection Tenet. We need protection from our own negative thoughts that prevent us from using our energy to build more productive and constructive aspects of our lives. Below are the symbols and their meanings.

        • Fire Symbol The divine triangle is associated with pyramids & sacred mountains; within the elements it is Fire, representing the journey of self discovery & transformation.
        • Horse n the face of adversity, the Latin word Invictus bolsters us. We can be hurt physically, financially, emotionally; yet our soul is unconquerable. “...I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. ...I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul. “ Invictus c. 1875 William Ernest Henley
        • Horseshoe The Horseshoe is a symbol of a shield of protection. We chose it as our symbol of Protection particularly due to the Metal it was originally made from; Iron. Iron is a strong metal that withstands fire, an appropriate metaphor for standing against the fire of adversity and negativity.
        • Scarab The scarab is an ancient Egyptian symbol of Khepera, a form of the Sun God, who transforms inert matter into action, creates life and is a powerful protector.
        • Water Symbol With its point downward, the divine triangle is an ancient symbol of femininity, suggestive of a chalice, or a cup; holding a reservoir of collective feminine energy. Within the elements, it represents Water.
