Resilience

This piece is derived from the Resilience Tenet. Because it is worth pursuing a life filled with blossoms which continue to bloom, even in darkness, against adversity.  Below are the symbols and their meanings.

  • Blossoms Wild, abundant, untamed, these flowers are fed with passion and continue to bloom even in adversity. Blossoms still bloom in darkness when tended.
  • Thorn The thorn is a symbol of the risk we assume when we follow our hearts because you can't separate the blossom from its thorn. A juxtaposition of beginnings and endings, sorrow and joy; dark and light. Shown with a background of resilient dark blossoms.
  • Sparrow We chose the Sparrow, to pictorially represent its homophone “Spero”, Latin for Hope. Choose to hold onto hope. Dum Spiro Spero: As long as I breathe, I hope.
