Crafted in 18k Yellow Gold, the Lovestruck Commitment Rivière Link Extension Necklace is part of our United in Love collection. The name “rivière” comes from the French word for river and was used as early as the 18th century to describe the way the diamonds flow around the neck.
An investment like this should be able to be worn every day, ebbing and flowing with the myriad of ways we present ourselves. The removable extension link lets you wear the necklace on its own as a continuous chain or with the link for a one-inch drop.
Here, the chain is paired with the Lovestruck Commitment Large Medallion. With a cushion-cut diamond at the center, the medallion is engraved with the phrase, “Sharing my love, my light, my life.” The piercings on the bezel around the center diamond and on the medallion's outer border were inspired by the ancient Roman god Cupid, whose fateful arrows struck mortal hearts and made them fall in love. Each piercing is proof that you have been pierced by love, forever marked with a bead of impact. One can wear the medallion as an alternative to an engagement ring or use it to "pop the question" in a way that lets both people participate in the choosing of an engagement ring.
The necklace includes two additional connectors for maximum versatility.
