ReverieButterfly Triskele Oversized Element NecklaceDiamonds, Amethyst, Yellow Gold

Description

Crafted in 18k Yellow Gold, diamonds, and amethyst, the Triskele Butterfly Oversized Element Chain represents our Tenet of Reverie.

A place between reality, fantasy, and memory, where our conscious and unconscious minds can reconnect. Our symbol for Reverie is the butterfly. An inextinguishable soul, always drawn to the light, the butterfly reminds us to seek out what lights us up. To find our joy. Knowing that there are still beautiful things in this world available to us in a limitless supply feels magical.

There is no such thing as too much joy, or too much laughter.

The three butterflies together represent the three winged souls of inspiration: Mneme (memory), Aiode (music), and Melete. Melete is harder to define. If you look up the ancient Greek word you’ll see many translations: practice/occasion/dance/ritual. Our interpretation of Melete is that it is the “thing” that gets you into the flow where time has no end and anything is possible. Together, those three winged souls of inspiration incite you to daydream, to create, and to celebrate.

The medallion is paired with the Oversized Element Chain that alternates between two natural elements: stone and gold. Ideal for building a story, you can slip a pendant or medallion onto any of its open links.

The medallion is attached to the chain with the prong-set diamond annex link for additional shine.

Triple Butterfly Triskele

As part of our Reverie Tenet, we have the butterfly triskele. The triskele motif derives its name from Ancient Greek, meaning "three times," and features a pattern in triplicate emanating from a common center. Triskeles symbolize infinity and connection.

According to GreekLegend, there were three original muses: Mneme (Memory), Aiode (Sing/Celebrate) & Melete (Study/Contemplate). Here the three butterflies represent these three winged souls of inspiration. When you are free to daydream, to think deeply, to remember, to sing: together, these practices can culminate in an ideal flow state of creativity and creation, where you are operating both within and outside yourself in perfect harmony and joy.
