In honor of International Women's Month and in support of PEN America, FoundRae will be hosting a giveway from March 15th - April 15th. For every $25 you donate, you will be entered in a chance to win a Strength Open Chain Necklace.
Strength has been a core Tenet of FoundRae from the beginning, but with this launch we are trying to express how there are many kinds of strength. There is the overt strength a writer has when they put pen to paper to express an idea that isn’t widely accepted, or when they are willing to tell and untold story. There is the strength & will of PEN America to stand up and protect the rights of the writers and then there is the strength of the supporters who stand in strength as witnesses and in support of these courageous acts.
Handcrafted in 18k Yellow Gold, This Solar + Lunar Strength Medallion Necklace is a reminder that Strength is within. We all have it, but sometimes it wanes, and we need to call on it. We all have both solar and lunar energies inside of us. Sometimes it takes greater strength to pull back than to push forward. It is time to harness both kinds of strengths that we possess and to nurture them in ourselves and each other. Both are equally strong; the wisdom lies in which kind of strength to use and when to use it.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 18th. 100% of the donations for this initiative will be given directly to PEN America. The more you donate the better your chances, good luck!

HOW TO CARE FOR THIS PIECE?
The biggest danger to enamel is cracking due to the impact of dropping it on hard surfaces. Wrap enamel jewelry in a soft cloth before storing to prevent the glass enamel from sustaining chips or scratches from your other jewelry. If damage occurs, we will gladly repair the piece for you, feel free to email us at clientcare@foundrae.com or call us at +1 (844)-731-0808.
HOW TO CLEAN THIS PIECE?
Shine enamel with a microfiber cloth and lukewarm water. Apply makeup, perfume and hair spray before putting on jewelry, and do not wear your gold or enameled pieces in a swimming pool. Chlorine can damage gold, causing it to pit or become brittle. Gold pieces can be polished by your local jeweler.

Shipping
Upon receipt of the order, you will receive an order confirmation and a Foundrae team member will reach out within 1-2 business days with order updates or a tracking number. Lead-times vary by item type. We do have limited inventory in our store but generally keep stock of all core medallion and chain options. If the piece is in stock we can ship immediately, but if we do not have inventory, each piece is individually made and requires a 4-6 week shipping window.
- Rings require a 4-6 week lead time, as we do not carry all sizes.
- Custom pieces require a 6-8 week shipping window once artwork has been approved.
Please inquire if there is a greater urgency to the timing of the delivery. We wish to accommodate customer’s delivery requests if it’s in our ability.
You can choose to cancel your order within 24 hours of receipt of shipping window notice. If we do not receive a notice of cancellation within 24 hours, we will go forward with production and the return policy will apply.

Domestic Shipping Options
Domestic orders are shipped FedEx insured 2-day at $20 flat.
All shipments are subject to payment in full by customer. We will send you an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped.
All packages are insured and a signature is required upon receipt.
International Shipping Options
International orders are shipped FedEx insured air at $75 flat rate. FedEx considers all U.S territories as international shipments (i.e Puerto Rico, Guam). All shipments and duties (if applicable) are subject to payment in full by customer. FoundRae is not responsible for any duties or taxes incurred by the country that we are shipping to.
