Floral Screen Resilience Tanzanite Link Rivière Necklace in Mixed Gold with Diamonds

Description

Crafted in 18k Yellow and White Gold, this necklace pairs the tanzanite Rivière Chain with the Resilience Large Floral Screen Medallion. With every new season, we offer Limited Edition pieces that are only available for a few months and are exclusively sold at our retail stores and FoundRae website. While these pieces are here for a limited time, they can be part of your story forever. Available through January 19th, 2026.

The Rivière Necklace features bezel-set tanzanite stones alternating with small links. First appearing in the 18th century, this style was named after the French word for river, a reference to the way the chain seems to flow around the neck. Ours is both beautiful and functional — you can easily slip a pendant or medallion on to any of the links.

A symbol of our Resilience Tenet, the Floral Screen medallion represents the ability to withstand adversity and keep going. Engraved with the Latin phrase dum spiro, spero — "as long as I breathe, I hope" — it reminds us that blossoms overcome thorns to bloom more abundantly than ever.

The mixed gold design was inspired by intricately carved decorative screens placed over a high shine gold surface, so that the gold shows through the etched-out parts of the floral latticework. Each type of gold is cast separately, creating alloys of pure integrity. Then the elements are soldered together, allowing us to mix colors seamlessly.

The medallion's Annex Link makes it easy to clip on and off.

Resilience

This piece is derived from the Resilience Tenet.
Because it is worth pursuing a life filled with blossoms which continue to bloom, even in darkness, against adversity. Below are the symbols and their meanings.

Blossoms

Wild, abundant, untamed, these flowers are fed with passion and continue to bloom even in adversity. Blossoms still bloom in darkness when tended.

Thorn

The thorn is a symbol of the risk we assume when we follow our hearts because you can't separate the blossom from its thorn. A juxtaposition of beginnings and endings, sorrow and joy; dark and light. Shown with a background of resilient dark blossoms.

Sparrow

We chose the Sparrow, to pictorially represent its homophone “Spero”, Latin for Hope. Choose to hold onto hope. Dum Spiro Spero: As long as I breathe, I hope.
