Basking in the Snowlight Holiday Scarf

Description

As we round the corner into the final weeks of holiday shopping, we have a little something to give to you for. Woven in soft silk, our exclusive Basking in the Snowlight scarf reflects the soul of the season in its icy color palette and features the symbols of our Protection Tenet: the Horseshoe, the Shield, the Scarab, the Double Triangle, and the “La Loba Claw.”

Calligraphic writing offers a deeper dive into the meaning of each symbol and the Tenet to create a style that can be worn as a neckscarf, headscarf, to accessorize the handles of a bag, and in myriad other ways too. Whether you keep it for yourself, or wrap it up for someone you know would love to receive it, it was our way of embracing the spirit of the season.

Happy holidays to you.

Protection

This piece is derived from the Protection Tenet. We need protection from our own negative thoughts that prevent us from using our energy to build more productive and constructive aspects of our lives. Below are the symbols and their meanings.

Protection La Loba Claw

The "La Loba" Claw represents our untamed primal instincts. Fierce, loyal, defiant; intent on protecting our fundamental nature.

Horseshoe

Historically made of iron, a metal that withstands fire, the Horseshoe is a metaphor for standing against the fire of adversity and negativity. Also associated with prosperity and luck.

Inverted Triangle

The Inverted Triangle represents water. There are powerful links between water and healing, freedom, intuition, life, and spirituality. Water is a life-giving resource, essential. Water is the current carrying us when our bodies get too tired.

Double Triangle

Fire/water, male/female, transformation/regeneration: the Double Triangle is the ultimate power of Protection with each force combined.

Scarab

An ancient Egyptian symbol of Khepera, the sun God, that creates life and is a powerful protector.
