One of the many beautiful properties of gold is that it can be melted and reused countless times without any loss of its properties, making it a truly recyclable material. No matter how many times it is melted, there is no degradation of the gold.  All of the gold that FoundRae uses is either certified recycled gold or Fairmined gold.

During the month of April, we will be partnering once again with Fairmined for the return of our Ingot Program. We invite you to bring 8 –10 grams of your gold or silver to our Lispenard and Miami retail locations and, with a donation of $500, we will recycle your jewelry to create an ingot pendant unique to you. 

All proceeds from our Ingot Program will be donated to the Ethical Metalsmiths Organization as they advocate for responsible jewelry practices through education, connection, and action. Any gold used to supplement your ingot design will be 18K Fairmined gold that comes from empowered, responsible, artisanal, and small-scale mining organizations who meet world leading standards for responsible practices.
