When we first partnered with Every Mother Counts, I thought long and hard about what symbol could work to not only represent their effort but to galvanize our own community in support. And then I remembered a beautiful motto from the 18th century picturing a hive of honeybees with a Latin expression written below it – Dulcis Concordiae Fructus: the sweet fruit of unity.

Every Mother Counts works to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for everyone, everywhere. There is a lot we already know about how to prevent pregnancy and childbirth-related complications, but not enough political will or resources are dedicated to this issue.
