Handcrafted in 18K Yellow Gold, this Heavy Belcher Bracelet with Sister Hooks is shown with our Medium Pear Medallion. The bracelet is composed of our heavy belcher chain and anchored to the chain are sister hooks that fit perfectly intertwined with each other. The back is engraved with AEI. AEI is an ancient Greek adverb which translates as always, ever, forever, perpetually, incessantly, constantly, invariably, unceasingly, at any and every time. It also can mean ‘life’ from ‘lifetime’.

The name “Sister Hook” describes a pair of hooks fitted together so that one hook makes the other hook more secure. It’s often used when describing the button hooks on Victorian watch fobs. However, Anything that reminds us of “sisters” in the literal sense, or “sisterhood” is a friend of ours.

Each pair comes at a time in our lives when something just feels right. These pairs of pears, we absorb them, fuse them into our own hearts, and our heart grows as a result. It’s those pairs we choose to keep; friends, lovers, family, chosen family, a part of our heart forever.

HOW TO CARE FOR THIS PIECE?

The biggest danger to enamel is cracking due to the impact of dropping it on hard surfaces. Wrap enamel jewelry in a soft cloth before storing to prevent the glass enamel from sustaining chips or scratches from your other jewelry. HOW TO CLEAN THIS PIECE?

Shine enamel with a microfiber cloth and lukewarm water. Apply makeup, perfume and hair spray before putting on jewelry, and do not wear your gold or enameled pieces in a swimming pool. Chlorine can damage gold, causing it to pit or become brittle. Gold pieces can be polished by your local jeweler.

Shipping

Upon receipt of the order, you will receive an order confirmation and a Foundrae team member will reach out within 1-2 business days with order updates or a tracking number. Lead-times vary by item type. We do have limited inventory in our store but generally keep stock of all core medallion and chain options. If the piece is in stock we can ship immediately, but if we do not have inventory, each piece is individually made and requires a 4-6 week shipping window.

- Rings require a 4-6 week lead time, as we do not carry all sizes.
- Custom pieces require a 6-8 week shipping window once artwork has been approved.

    Please inquire if there is a greater urgency to the timing of the delivery. We wish to accommodate customer’s delivery requests if it’s in our ability.

    You can choose to cancel your order within 24 hours of receipt of shipping window notice. If we do not receive a notice of cancellation within 24 hours, we will go forward with production and the return policy will apply.

    Domestic Shipping Options

    Domestic orders are shipped FedEx insured 2-day for free with a minimum purchase of $1000. All orders under $1000 will ship at a $20 flat rate. 

    Domestic orders also have the option for Fedex insured overnight at a $30 flat rate.

    All shipments are subject to payment in full by customer. We will send you an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped. 

    All packages are insured and your order confirmation email will note whether a signature is required at the time of delivery.

    We offer same day delivery via messenger service for orders located in New York City ONLY for a $20 flat rate. For same day messenger delivery, orders should be placed before 4:30 pm in order to receive the same day. All messenger orders after 4:30 pm will be delivered the next day.

    International Shipping Options

    International orders are shipped by either DHL or FedEx insured air at $75 flat rate (shipping service dependent on the shipping country). FedEx considers all U.S territories as international shipments (i.e Puerto Rico, Guam). All shipments and duties for both DHL and FedEx (if applicable) are subject to payment in full by customer. 

    FoundRae is not responsible for any duties or taxes incurred by the country that we are shipping to. The customer is responsible to pay taxes and duties upon delivery.

    All packages are insured and a signature is required upon receipt.
