Sana - Wholeness Lapis Stone Hanging Clockweight Necklace

Description

Crafted in 18k Yellow Gold, our Sana – Wholeness Lapis Stone Hanging Clockweight Necklace is a modern alternative to the traditional necklace chain. Embellished with our Sana – Wholeness Large Specialty Medallion, this 24” chain is symbolic of our Wholeness tenet. Set within the medallion is a black pearl. Pearls are created in the nurturing, lunar energy of water and are often associated with healing. These gems grow out of necessity, formed in response to an invasive object. The same way we must aspire to heal when confronted with adversity—with grace and beauty.

Composed of lapis stone links, a hanging clockweight, and a Chubby Annex Link, the length of this chain allows for ease when taking on and off. The chain is finished with a clasp, but we’ve found that slipping over the head is the easiest way to begin building your jewelry look.

This piece is derived from the Wholeness Tenet. Black pearls have many spiritual associations, including healing and hope. Pearls are created in the nurturing, lunar energy of water: their shape and glow evoke the image of a full moon. I find inspiration in the growth of the pearl: an irritant disrupts the stasis of the oyster, and over time, layers of layers of pearl nacre surround the substance. These gradual layers build upon each other and transform what was once a threat into a thing of beauty. This gem grows out of necessity, the same way we must aspire to heal when confronted with adversity - with grace, hope, and beauty.

Inverted Triangle

The Inverted Triangle represents water. There are powerful links between water and healing, freedom, intuition, life, and spirituality. Water is a life-giving resource, essential. Water is the current carrying us when our bodies get too tired.

Water

Though soft and fluid, water can wear away stone. Water is intuition and healing.
