Caste: The Orgins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson is a nonfiction book about racism in the United States through the lens of the caste system. Foundrae hosted a PEN America Author's Evening on January 21st 2021. Wilkerson discussed and answered direct questions about Caste to an intimate group of attendees via Zoom. All proceeds of $5,500 were contributed directly to PEN America.
